
We believe we serve some of the best food in the West Country. The delicious menus include a Bar Snack Menu with such favourites as Wiltshire Gammon, 2 Eggs and Bubble and Squeak, Somerset Rarebit, our famous Homemade Burger and a wide selection of sandwiches and salads.
The A La Carte menu concentrates on country bistro cuisine with a modern twist. Head Chef Veera Autioniemi makes sure that the menu is constantly changing, and uses only the best local ingredients.
The menu includes local game in season, fresh fish, superb steaks, homemade desserts and local cheeses. Recent favourites have included Spiced Fish Stew with Chorizo, Butterbeans and Crusty Bread; Seared Pigeon Breast and Beetroot Salad; Roasted Lamb Rump with Warm New Potatoes, Red Pepper and Tomato Salad with Salsa Verde; and Baked Vanilla Cheesecake with a Berry and Pimms Compote.

We are also gaining a reputation for having delicious BBQs and Spit Roasts served in the garden (anyone for Haunch of Venison marinated in Port, Red Wine and Juniper Berries served with Saute Potatoes, Put Lentil and Pancetta, and Roasted Beetroot Salad?).
