Like our sister pub, The Rattlebone Inn, Sherston, we like to think of ourselves as a great country pub that serves superb food, not a restaurant! Therefore the drinking side is very important to us. There is nothing better than having the buzz of quality drinkers to create a brilliant warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We have a great front bar where locals and customers from all walks of life mix, chat, have fun and wind up the manager and bar maids!
We have at least three Real Ales (please see below for details) with Youngs Bitter and Butcombe Bitter (which is brewed in the village itself) being the most prominent. We also have three quality draught Lagers and a range of draught and bottled Ciders (Thatchers is only two miles down the road). We also have an extensive Wine List with 18 wines by the glass.
